A full bursary to the EYSM will be awarded to one musician as we have been doing for the past few years.
The Blackburn Festival Young Instrumentalist of the Year,
The Blackburn Festival Young Pianist of the Year, and
The Blackburn Festival Young Vocalist of the Year
will all be awarded a prize of £75
In addition we have three £25 prizes for younger musicians
Most Promising Instrumentalist,
Most Promising Pianist, and
Most Promising Vocalist.
These prizes will be decided by the adjudicators in discussion with the Music Committee.
