Thank you to all those who helped make the Music weekend such a fantastic start to the 2024 Festival.
All agreed that the Gala Concert was a delightful way to finish - expect to see a return next year.
A full bursary to the EYSM will be awarded to one musician. Well, that was the original plan - we were so blown away by the standard of music at the festival we decided to award three bursaries instead. Congratulations to three fabulous musicians - may you enjoy every moment of making summer music.
The most promising vocalist, pianist and instrumentalist were awarded a £100 prize - our adjudicators found this another tough decision to make such was the quality of our musicians.
